How can I deposit inorganic data into the ICSD?

Modified on Thu, 22 May at 11:33 PM

You can deposit organic, metal-organic, inorganic experimental crystal structures, as well as theoretical structures, through the joint CCDC/FIZ Karlsruhe online deposition service:

https://www.ccdc.cam.ac.uk/deposit

All deposited datasets will be assigned a Deposition Number, which you should receive via email within 2 working days. Deposition Numbers can be quoted as CCDC Numbers (for organic or metal-organic structures) or ICSD Numbers (for inorganic structures). These deposition numbers should be included in manuscript submissions to journals to enable users to access the deposited dataset associated with a publication.

Upon publication, your deposited data will be made publicly available through our Access Structures service. Additionally, organic and metal-organic experimental structures will be curated into the Cambridge Structural Database and inorganic experimental structures will be curated into the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database

If you are unable to use our online deposition services for any reason, please contact us at: deposit@ccdc.cam.ac.uk and we will work to address these issues for you.
