The CCDC uses DataCite's DOI assignment service to assign data DOIs to structures. A data DOI will be generated only after your structure has been published and we have updated our records with the publication information. Upon publication, your structure will receive a data DOI which when opened will direct users to the Access Structures/WebCSD entry of the structure. This will be shown under the "Data Citation" heading for the entry.
For structures published in the CSD as CSD Communications, the data DOI will be communicated by email to the depositor once the data DOI has been generated.
The CCDC has agreements in place with journal publishers to provide access to data to referees prior to publication. If you would like to share an access link to your data before it has been published for refereeing purposes, you can request a pre-publication link by contacting CCDC Structure Service at structures@ccdc.cam.ac.uk.
