ConQuest will not start when used with the latest version of VMWare

We are aware of issues with the latest versions of VMWare tools that cause ConQuest to fail to start - this is due to changes in the graphics drivers on this platform.

Solutions for this issue include:

1. Start ConQuest from a command prompt (in ccdc-software\conquest\exe type csds.exe -no3d). This will start ConQuest without a 3D visualizer but you can choose the export to Mercury option to view the results there.

2. Downgrade VMWare to an older version to use the older graphics drivers.
